But the technology has some real challenges, and the big companies that own the technology and drive it are having some tough times, too.
If self-drive technology doesn’t improve, the car may never be ready.

The problem is that the more AVAs the Google makes, the more it has to pay to lease space to each one.
The amount of space it has is going to get bigger and bigger over time.
