Business Insider’s Lauren R. Dyer writes that Oracle has a new partnership with Sun Enterprises to sign a new contract with the Sun Enterprises Solar Alliance to sell solar energy to the public.
The deal is the largest in the solar energy business since Sun Enterprises bought a stake in SunEdison in 2014.
SunEdisons solar business is one of the largest of its kind, but the SunEnterprises deal will be the largest contract in the industry.
SunEnviro, the company that will be selling the energy to customers, is also one of Oracle’s largest customers.
Oracle says the new contract will make SunEnvy the largest solar energy installer in the world.
Oracle also says it will sell more than 1 million solar systems, or more than half of all new installations in the US by 2020.
Oracle says the company has signed a new agreement with SunEnviroment, which is based in the Netherlands.
The company says that the deal will provide the most significant infrastructure investment by Oracle in its history.
Sun Enviroments chief executive officer Jeroen Kappes said that the new deal will create more than 20,000 jobs in the region, including more than 10,000 in the U.S. It is also a massive boost to Sun Enviros growth.
Oracle is looking to grow its solar business in the second half of 2020 and beyond.
Sun Enterprises said that it would sell energy from its solar arrays to customers through a new deal that Oracle signed in May.
Sun Enterprise has a market cap of $1.7 billion.
It was founded in 2004 and is one the largest energy-conserving businesses in the United States.
